The ethical principles of science and technology are the concrete embodiment of the value concept of improving human welfare in various fields, and they run through the whole process of science and technology activities, especially how researchers deal with their relationship with experimental animals and participants in science and technology activities. Normative ethical management of science and technology is not only an important part of medical treatment and scientific research in hospitals, but also an important means to protect subjects' rights and interests.
SECCR plays a key role in preventing ethical risks in science and technology. It actively carries out all kinds of ethical training, aiming at providing professional training and consulting services for members of the Ethics Committee and relevant practitioners. The committee independently designs ethics courses and provides professional training for participants in ethics review, so as to improve the review ability of the ethics committee and promote biomedical research and practice to meet high scientific and ethical standards. Conduct professional training for participants in clinical research to improve the quality and level of clinical research, so that clinical research meets ethical requirements; Conduct non-profit training to enhance public trust and support for biomedical research and practice involving people.

ECD International Conference
ECD (Ethics Committee Development) International Forum Series began in 2019 and is built upon the prestigious medical center city of Shanghai, an outstanding location in Asia. It is meticulously organized by the Shanghai Ethics Committee for Clinical Research and serves as a professional and international platform for ethical research. The forum aims to align international excellent and successful case studies with Chinese characteristics, optimizing and innovating based on comparisons and traditional foundations. It keeps pace with the times, emphasizes practicality, and makes significant contributions to the development of ethics committees and the enhancement of ethics review capabilities in biomedical research in China. The conference provides a communication platform for governmental departments responsible for healthcare and scientific research, as well as professionals in the field of biomedical sciences and individuals concerned with ethics, law, and social issues in Shanghai, the Yangtze River Delta region, and even across the country. In the future, it will continue to maintain connections with the international ethics community and collaborate with internationally relevant institutions to make the voice of Chinese ethics heard worldwide.
